Author’s note 3: I have heard you series

Author’s note 3: I have heard you series

The 18.th poem concludes the first volume of the “ I have heard you” series. This series was first published by myself as my first booklet many years ago and passed on among friends.

The following could be read in the introduction:

Maybe you feel that your life is like a train, whose switches were set wrong several times and who didn’t pay close attention to the timetable or the signals and is therefore stuck on a dead end track. Without having a sense of direction, it asks itself how it could get there in the first place.

These poems are a dialog between the switchboard and the conductor or, in other words between the Creator and his creation, - the human. On that occasion a variety of situations are addressed and it becomes obvious, that the Creator doesn’t want anything more, than to help the human. Will he respond to him?

This series of poems came about through years of visiting repeat offenders of different nationalities and religions in a German prison. Being in contact with people who have been sentenced guilty has inspired me to create a booklet for them after all. The poems should be thought provoking, because they speak about situations, which many of us may be able to identify with. It is my hope, that every reader may get to know his Creator better and will be blessed by him and becomes a blessing to others as well.
