You make me sad --- I have heard you series poem 7

You make me sad --- I have heard you series poem 7
(2712021740,2901051601-1619)

You make me sad human:
Every day I let you wake up
in a comfortable bed.
I give you health
and energy,
in order to
manage your day joyfully.
You can eat what you want
and lack nothing.
How much do I wish
that you respond to my love.
Every day I hope
to hear one word of thanks from you,
but all you do
is complain,
when something didn’t go
the way you wanted it to.
You have no idea,
how much I have protected you
because I didn’t give you
what you asked for
at that moment.
For a long time now
you have taken
my loving kindness and grace
toward you for granted.
You haven’t even given a thought about
what would be
if it were different.
You make me sad human,
but my love toward you is so big,
that I do not give up hope for you.

Authors note: Perfect surroundings do not necesarrily make a person more thankful. By the time this poem was written it was written to a certain readership to whom the first paragraph applied. I am very aware of the fact that this cannot be generalized and many people find themselves in much hardship.
